What's Maze? Well, the game is also called PacMan - and I guess you know what's that. If not, check some screenshots :).
You have to collect as much as you can of these:
When you have enough points (explained a bit later), you can go to the exit, which looks like this:
In the left-bottom part of the screen is a gauge which shows to you how much of points you have to get - until you can go to the exit.
Under the 'score-left-gauge' is the God-mode indicator. If you eaten the invulnerability 'point', it also show to you, who much time you have left (it's not it seconds, but who cares?).
Rules
In the game, you are this:
(1 point)
or these
(50 points + invulnerability for a while :)
Monsters
It would be way too easy if there weren't any creatures that could kill you, wouldn't it? So, there are three types of monsters there to make you dead:
Monster 1
Well, this one is the most dumb. The way he's walking is completely random, so you don't have to be scared that he will follow you (at least, he will not do so because of his intelligence). One interesting thing about this monster is that he's producing '1-points' sometimes (the probability of this is 1:20). This is the base thing in some levels... The speed of the moster is the same as yours. WARNING: This monster could destroy the 50-points item, if he puts there the 1-point. However, this doesn't occur often :)
Monster 2
This monster is a little bit more smart than the first. He always goes in your direction - if you are in the left of him, he goes to the left etc. The speed of this monster is 1/3 of yours. HINT: If you are smarter than this monster, you can 'lock' him in corners like this:
Monster 3
Well, this is the most intelligent monster in this game. He uses so-called 'wave algorithm' (I guess that 'hole algorithm' is a better name in this case :) to find the path to you. In the real life this means that he can find you in a labyrinth as well as in a open surface :) He won't chase you until there is a way to get to you. This means that if he's behind a door, he'll start the chase just after you unlock it... The monster also walks with 1/3 of your speed. HINT: You can get off this monster if you go far away of him. The exact meaning of 'far' is different in each level, so you will have to find it yourself :)
Keys & doors
If you are at least a bit smart (I am sure you are ;-), you know what are these two items for. You have to pick up keys and when you come to some door (and have key(s), of course) you can unlock it :) A nice thing is, that there is just one type of key and one type of door (so every key opens every door :-). HINT: In some levels, you must be careful in which order you open the doors, or else you can get stuck and you'll have to play the level all over again. Here are some images, so you can see, what these items look like:
